October 2002 Meeting
Measuring Document Health
presented by Microsystems

For this upcoming meeting, we have an informative presentation scheduled by Teresa Morris, Vice President of Migration Services at Microsystems.  Microsystems is an industry leader in conversion and document analysis/cleanup software.  At this meeting, Teresa will be discussing Word document “health”.  She will cover  how to measure the relative health of your documents, how document health affects productivity and proficiency in document production, and proactive approaches for maintaining the health of your documents.

Also, for the first time on the west coast, Teresa will be demonstrating Microsystems’ newest addition to their exceptional line of DocX products, DocXamine.  DocXamine enables the electronic examination and assessment of single documents, multiple documents, or multiple collections of documents.  With DocXamine, you will be able to quickly analyze document inventory,  metadata,  usage,  paragraph numbering, styles, embedded objects, complexity, quality and more.

If you have large document collections with hidden issues that may cause trouble when your users or clients edit, publish, or share them, this is a meeting you’ll want to attend.

To accommodate firms located in different parts of the city, we will be repeating the meeting, holding it first in the Westside, followed by Downtown. A lunch will be catered compliments of King-Herpel and the law firms sponsoring the meetings.  We would like to thank the firms of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips and Sidley & Austin for accommodating us with this session.
